Attention Criminal Justice Students! Sign Up for Physical Conditioning Specific to the Illinois Police Power Test

Get physical conditioning training specific to the Illinois Police Power Test from a Certified Instructor in this special section of the PHYED 140 Physical Conditioning Course.

To review or download the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board's POWER test booklet, complete with the standards and expectations by age and gender, go to:
http://www.ptb.illinois.gov/media/1320/power.pdf

As recent Criminal Justice Interns found out and as Dr. White and Professors' Graff and Higgins have been preaching, this is a passable test.  But, as with any test, it requires planning and preparation.  If you are not in top physical condition at this time or you are working out but you are not able to pass one or more portions of this course,  you owe it to yourself to sign up for this course.  All aspects of physical conditioning relevant to this test, strength, aerobic, flexibility and core strength will be covered and you WILL see results.

This is a high quality, cost effective way to jump start your training for the POWER test.  It is also an excellent opportunity to acquire high quality guidance and knowledge as you work to maintain the healthy and professional physical condition required for a career in Law Enforcement.

Location:Illinois Central College CougarPlex
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning October 17th
Time: 2:30-3:45 pm
