Remote Discussion about our Illinois Central College "One Book, One College" 2020-21 selection, BORN A CRIME, November 9th!

We will host a discussion for students, faculty or staff about this book via Zoom on November 9th at 5 p.m.  If you would like the Zoom invite, please contact Professor Higgins at: thomas.higgins@icc.edu

The ICC Library “One Book, One College” Committee has picked Born a Crime by Trevor Noah as the 2020-2021 Program Selection.

Born a Crime tells the story of racism, social justice and poverty and Trevor Noah's life and childhood growing up as a bi-racial child in South Africa.  It is a timely choice and a great opportunity to support and expand on our efforts to address the systemic racism and social justice concerns of our students and to further our interest in addressing those concerns in the law and justice careers we support and prepare our students to enter every day.
