Current students should complete the Degree Audit through E-Services and save that document as a pdf file and then contact Criminal Justice Program Coordinator Doug Heuermann by e-mail at: douglas.heuermann@icc.edu to get registered for classes.
I am excited to be the Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, and 911 Services program coordinator at Illinois Central College. I have worked in the Criminal Justice field my entire career beginning in 1983 at Peoria County Juvenile Court Services as an Investigator and Probation Officer. I continued this vocation as a Federal Probation officer in the Central District of Illinois having progressed through the department to the position of Chief U. S. Probation Officer retiring in 2018. I then began teaching in ICC’s early college program at Woodruff Career and Technical Center in Peoria.
I attended Western Illinois University for my Law Enforcement Administration degree and while working at Peoria County attended Illinois State University completing my master's degree in Criminal Justice in 1991.
My goal is to assist students to achieve academic success as well as prepare you for a future career in the Criminal Justice field. I encourage you to take advantage of the excellent programs offered at Illinois Central College and look forward to working with each of you.
